Flooding and Post-Floods in Shkodra Region.

In the meeting hold on January 18, 2010, the administration of the Regional Council of Shkoder, took into consideration the work done in support of the structures established during the emergency flood that happened in the early January in Shkodra Region. The administration of this institution headed by the President of the Regional Council of Shkoder  gave its contribution in support of operations conducted during emergency days to its improvement. 

They have consisted in pursuit in 24 hours non stop the created situation, in receiving  and disseminating  information, in providing documentation on hydro system in the area, and other data which have enabled the coordination of contacts and then the actions in between government and local bodies are responsible for this purpose.
It is also working in the reception and creation of conditions for various international delegations that have visited the district of Shkodra in these difficult days.
While this emergency today is going on, the administration is engaged positively with the data that it owns, to prepare specific projects for concrete interventions in collaboration with ministries, in all those areas where it is noted that should strengthen or improve hydro infrastructure. For this task was left to co-operate with specialists and local institutions or central to the rapid realization of joint commitment in  bringing to normality to life as soon as possible in these areas and prevent these consequences as much in the future.
