SEMINAR IN SHKODRA REGION ON DECENTRALISATION AND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT
 On April 26 and 30 in 2010 were held, respectively, in Puke and Shkoder meetings to launch the second phase of the DLDP program (decentralization and local development) for the period March 2010 to 2013 with a total budget of 4.9 million Swiss franc. This program is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by the Swiss INTERCOOPERATION.

WORKSHOP WITH MOLISE REGION IN TIRANA IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM “TWO NATIONS, ONE SEA, ONE FRIENDSHIP”
 In the framework of intergovernmental program “two nations, one sea, one friendship”, the Molise Region Italy in cooperation with Regions that adhere to the Adriatic Euroregion developed a two-day seminar at Hotel Tirana Iternacional where was discussed about the role and requirements of employees in the framewor of the Adriatic Euroregion.

 On Tuesday 27th April 2010 was held the meeting of the Regional Council of Shkoder which took into consideration the materials presented by the administration and the President of the Regional Council of Shkoder. After hearing the materials and discussions of the Regional Council’s members of commissions it was taken the following decisions by voting.

A REPRESENTATIVE BODY OF KOSOVO PARLIAMENT WAS RECEIVED IN THE REGIONAL COUNCIL OF SHKODER.
 A representative body of the Kosovo Republic members of parliament was received today in a cordial meeting by the President of the Regional Council Mr. Gjovalin Kolombi and the Shkodra Member of Parliament Mr Astrit Bushati.

COOPERATION BETWEEN THE REGIONAL COUNCIL OF SHKODRA WITH GTZ / GERMAN DEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND POSTRIBE COMMUNE, MAKE POSSIBLE THE OPENING OF THE COMMUNE INFORMATION OFFICE IN POSTRIBE
 It was held the opening ceremony for the public information office in the Commune of Postribe of Shkoder Region. This was a collaboration of the Regional Council of Shkoder, which coordinated the work between the Commune of Postribe and the German development agency GTZ, for the opening of this office that will serve to the community of this commune and to the whole area.

MEETING BETWEEN ALBANIAN AND MONTENEGRIN ACADEMICS, HELD AT THE REGIONAL COUNCIL OF SHKODRA ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION OF AN INTERNATIONAL TWO DAY CONFERENCE IN SHKODRA AND MONTENEGRO, ABOUT THE ECOSYSTEM AND IN PARTICULAR FOCUSED ON THE BASIN OF SHKODRA LAKE.
 At the Regional Council of Shkoder was held a meeting between the two groups of Academy of Sciences of Albania and Montenegro.
